DSG's have a much higher rate of fire than a standard AEG. DSG stands for Dual Sector Gear, which allows the airsoft gun to increase the firerate. This happens because a dual sector gear has twice as many teeth than a standard gear. This will reduce the power of the gearbox drastically as the piston is being pulled back half as much compared to a standard sector gear. An ultra heavy spring will need to be installed to bring the FPS back up but other parts may need to be strengthened also to retain reliability.
