ODIN Innovations M12 Sidewinder Airsoft Magazine Speed Loader - Tan
Description

The M12 is constructed from high density polymer, and is available in either dark earth or olive green, meaning you can take the M12 into a long duration skirmish and keep your mags topped up while avoiding any worries about its colour giving you away! To load the M12, simply open the feed port at the top of the unit, and pore your BBs in. This loader holds up to 1600 BBs, providing a large enough reservoir to fill 10 average midcaps with a few BBs to spare! The M12 is operated using a folding crank handle, which can be conveniently stored in the recess on the side of the loader for a low profile, pouch friendly footprint.

Loading a magazine using the M12 Sidewinder is remarkably simple. All you need to do is insert your magazine into the bottom of the loader, where it will be retained by the built in magazine catch, and turn the winding handle clockwise with the magazine oriented at the bottom. With the magazine filled, simply press the mag release and remove it, ready for the next one! As it comes, this loader is only compatible with M4/AR15 AEG mid and low capacity magazines, but adapters are available for other magazine types.

Unlike many similar loaders made from poor quality materials, the ODIN Sidewinder is made from extremely strong polymer which will never fail, even when loading midcaps with very strong feed springs. Why not save your thumbs from the agony of loading a full compliment of magazines, and save yourself some time between games with the M12 Sidewinder Speed Loader from ODIN Innovations?

Features:

  • High density polymer construction
  • Loads a mid-cap magazine in under 4 seconds
  • 1600 round capacity
  • Compatible with M4/AR15 AEG mid and low capacity magazines or other magazines with adaptors (not included)
  • Effortless loading  - A considerable step up from "thumb plunger" style loaders

I can't give this thing enough credit. It's a game changer!! You're loading times will be cut by, at least, 60%! Even the TM NGRS mags that don't click into the Odin, they load just as quickly!

Clutch Adjustment

ATTENTION: If you are following these instructions and the crank becomes difficult to turn, please proceed WITH CAUTION. If the clutch is improperly adjusted, i.e. too tight, you risk breaking your M12 Sidewinder!

To properly adjust the clutch, fill the loader with BB's and insert an empty magazine. Using a 10mm socket, loosen (counter clockwise) the nut in the center of the crank lever ½ revolution. Try turning the crank, the crank should spin easily without making any clicking noise and should not load any BB's in to the magazine. If it does load BB's loosen the nut another ½ revolution.

With the empty magazine inserted into the M12 tighten the nut 1/8 revolution. Turn the crank, if the crank still turns quietly and no BB's are loaded turn the nut another 1/8 revolution. Repeat this process until the crank begins to load some BB's and then slips before completely filling the magazine. Turning the crank will produce a clicking sound while BB's are being loaded. Once the clutch slips the crank will turn smoothly and quietly.

Remove the magazine and count the BB's that have been loaded. If the magazine is not fully loaded reinsert the now empty magazine and tighten the nut another 1/8 revolution. Repeat the process until you get a full magazine and the crank still turns smoothly and quietly after the magazine is full.

If at any point the crank becomes hard to turn and never slips, the clutch is too tight. Loosen the nut until the crank turns smoothly and quietly. Please note that if the clutch is too tight, continuing to turn the crank after it becomes difficult will likely break the teeth on the paddle wheel.
